The new Vice-Chancellor of the OU is Martin Bean.
This took my mind back to a children's TV series in the fifties called "Billy Bean"

You will see that it was amazingly prescient. His "funny machine" was very like a state of the art computer.
Are these two Mr Beans related by any chance?
